01. What kind of photography sessions do you offer?

I specialize in weddings, elopements, couples, maternity, newborn, and family photography with a focus on genuine connection, emotion, and storytelling.

 

02. What is your photography style?

 

My style is warm, emotive, and natural. I love capturing the in-between moments -- the laughter, movement, connection, and all the little details that make your story unique. I use gentle prompting so your photos feel natural instead of stiff or overly posed.

 

03. We're awkward in front of the camera...help!

 

You are not alone -- and honestly, most people say this before their session! My job is to guide you every step of the way with prompts and movement so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. The goal is for your session to feel relaxed, fun, and natural.

 

04. How far in advance should we book?

 

Weddings and elopements are best booked as early as possible, especially during peak season. For maternity sessions, I recommend booking during your second trimester, with sessions typically taking place around 28-34 weeks. Newborn sessions are ideally booked during pregnancy to guarantee availability are best done while baby is less than 2 weeks of age.

05. where do sessions take place?

Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, at a studio, or at a meaningful location of your choice. I'm always happy to help suggest locations based on the vibe you're envisioning.

 

06. Do you travel?

 

Yes! I'm available for travel within Ontario and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

 

07. How many images will we receive?

 

Every session and wedding is different, so final gallery sized vary. I always focus on quality over quantity while making sure your story is fully captured.

 

08. How long will it take to receive our gallery?

 

Typical turnaround times are: Up to 4 weeks for lifestyle sessions and up to 10 weeks for weddings & elopements. Timing varies, depending on how busy my schedule is at that time. You will also receive a small sneak peek gallery shortly after your session or wedding.

09. Do you give raw/unedited photos?

No. Edited images are a large part of my artistic style and the final experience I provide. All delivered images are carefully hand-editing to reflect my work consistently and intentionally.

 

10. What should we wear?

 

Once you book, I'll send styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you. I always recommend coordinating rather than perfectly matching, and choosing comfort over trends.

 

11. What if the weather is bad?

 

If weather is unsafe or extreme, we'll reschedule your session whenever possible. Sometimes cloudy, windy, snowy, or rainy weather can actually create the dreamiest images!

 

12. How do we book?

 

A signed contract and retainer are required to officially reserve your date. Once that's completed, you're booked!

13. Can we customize wedding coverage?

Absolutely! Every wedding day is different, and I'm happy to help create a collection that fits your plans and priorities best.

 

14. Can family members or pets join our session?

 

Of course! There is no limit to how many immediate family member or pets are allowed in your session. Extended family member will be an additional fee of $50/person. Special rates will apply for multi family sessions.

 

15. What if our kids don't cooperate?

 

That's completely okay. I approach family sessions in a child-led, relaxed way and focus on connection over perfection. Some of the sweetest moments happen in the in-between chaos.
